A small group of people will have the opportunity to join us in the most beautiful places we will pass. Traveling in the new Land Rover Defender 110 with heavy duty Bruder expedition trailer. They will spend a few days with us practising mindful running and active meditation, learning to unlock super focus, get into the flow and hold it comfortable throughout the day to achieve peak performance in the workplace and everyday life.

ITINERARY - RETREATS 2022

SUNDAY. ARRIVALS, INTRODUCTIONS, INTEGRATION

Two weeks before the retreat, we will begin identifying the way to accomplish your ultimate goals. This will include removing obstacles, reducing overwhelm, calming your nervous system, and creating space for focus, relaxation and flow. This will be done predominantly by email to prepare your customised program for the main event -  your retreat.




RETREAT DAY 1 - MONDAY. CALMING THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

7:00 AM Coaching Session To Calm The Nervous System

We will waste no time getting you out into nature for mindful running and active meditation sessions. This coaching process will shift your mind from working mode into your body and the present-moment awareness. Using simple mindful techniques, you will distance yourself from the stress of life and immerse deep into peace.


10:00 AM Breakfast and Mindfulness Session

Tom will guide each person to summarise the morning session and discuss their thoughts, feelings and emotions in preparation for the flow blockers session on day two.


1:00 PM Lunch, Introductions and Integration


4:00 PM Flow Triggers Session

The flow is defined and measurable, it has triggers and preconditions. In this session, we will learn how to build our lives around these triggers to unlock super focus, get into the flow and keep it comfortable all day long to achieve peak performance in the workplace and everyday life.


7:00 PM Dinner and Relaxation Session

We will continue the coaching session at dinner, processing what you experienced during the morning and afternoon sessions and begin diving into unblocking your flow. We will end the first day introducing techniques to relax the entire system for better sleep by practising Yoga Nidra, a guided relaxation exercise.

RETREAT DAY 2 - TUESDAY. SOAKING INTO INNER PEACE AND FOCUS

7:00 AM - Awareness Session

We will help you implement strategies to bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions while running. Enhancing your sense perceptions, and become deeply calm and connected to your body. This experience will help you “hold” the energy of peace back in your daily life.

10:00 AM - Breakfast and Flow Blockers Session

Tom will coach each person to overcome specific flow blockers. As these dissolves, you’ll sense the core of peace and clarity that can continue to direct your life long after your The State Of Flow experience is complete. We will give you research-backed tools to help you focus and get into the flow.


1:00 PM - Lunch, Integration and Recovery Session


4:00 PM - Creating Space Session

To drop into the zone and get deep into the flow, you need space, focusing on one thing for hours at a time. In this coaching session, you will enter into an active “conversation” with nature, realizing that you are not separate from nature but part of it - and as such, you are part of its communication system. This session will help you understand that denying what you feel is short term solution, and you will learn to accept your thoughts and emotions to create the space you need to achieve the highest level of performance.


7:00 PM - Dinner and Closing Cognitive Loops Session

We will continue the coaching session at dinner, processing what you experienced during the afternoon coaching session. We will end the second day by closing all open cognitive loops with writing exercises.

RETREAT DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY. DEEP RECOVERY, INTEGRATION AND RELAXATION

We will enjoy a full day of sailing and discovering coves and limestone cliffs, which bind the coastline with lush vegetation, volcanic rock and rare Mediterranean flora. Along the way, we will admire the breathtaking panorama, the natural magnificence of the coastline and the cultural heritage richness. Its luminosity and striking beauty had always inspired the greatest masters in various fields as architecture, painting, music or even cinema.


The day will end with dinner around the campfire.

RETREAT DAY 4 - THURSDAY. CLARITY, PASSION AND FLOW TRACKING

7:00 AM - Flow Tracking Session

When you experience this tracking exercise during your morning running session, you'll realize that the very skills you need to live the life you desire are being awakened within you.


10:00 AM - Breakfast and Clarity Session

Tom will guide each person to summarise their morning flow tracking exercise. Being clear on where you want to go and exactly how you're going to get there is incredibly important for flow. You will begin to understand instinctively how tracking is the perfect metaphor for creating your desired life. 


1:00 PM - Lunch and Recovery Session


4:00 PM - Cultivating Passion Session

Focused attention is the ultimate input goal, and passion is a deep focus mechanism. We pay more attention to the things we believe in; passion drives efficiency, increases productivity, and triggers the flow. In this coaching session, we will learn how to release on demand the most powerful neurochemical that helps us develop our passion, dopamine.


7:00 PM - Dinner and Identifying Rewards Session

We will continue the coaching session at dinner, processing what you experienced during the morning and afternoon coaching sessions. We will end the fourth day with a clear definition of what makes your day a win.

RETREAT DAY 5 - FRIDAY. PATTERNS AND DIRECTIONS

7:00 AM - Pattern Recognition Session

Humans love pattern recognition. Whenever we recognize a pattern, the brain releases a tiny squirt of the neurochemical dopamine. In this session, we will learn how to use mindful running and active meditation to train our brains to look for patterns of happiness in the workplace and everyday life. 


10:00 AM - Breakfast and Clarity Session

Tom will guide each person to summarize their morning pattern recognition training. These exercises will help you to be grateful for little things in your life, stay in the present moment, stop brooding in the past or warring about the future.

1:00 PM - Lunch and Recovery Session


4:00 PM - Directions Session

Flow follows focus and action. To achieve peak performance, we need to pick a direction and move. In this session, Tom will help you design a continuing practice to sustain your connection to your true nature. Together we will delve into your mission or cause you're passionate about and choose your 'true north,' aspirational, infinite endpoint directions. This practice will be both intrinsically rewarding and profoundly life-enhancing.


7:00 PM - Dinner and Mission Clarity Session

We will continue the coaching session at dinner, processing what you experienced during the morning and afternoon coaching sessions. We will end the fifth day with clear definitions of our life missions.

RETREAT DAY 6 - SATURDAY. CERTAINTY AND SELF-ESTEEM

7:00 AM - Flow Boosting Session

Clarity gives us certainty. As we already established your mission, now we will boost your performance and productivity by setting clear goals. Flow has triggers and stimuli, following focus and action. In this session, we will guide each person in establishing clear, flow friendly goals to heighten your attention and generate more awareness. As a result, it will lead you into getting deeper into the flow.

10:00 AM - Breakfast and Certainty Session

Tom will guide each person to summarize their morning flow boosting session. These exercises will help you lower the anxiety caused by stepping into the unknown. Increase focus and amps up motivation.


1:00 PM - Lunch and Recovery Session


4:00 PM - Confidence Session

Flow shows up when we balance the challenge at hand with our skills. To reach the flow, we will learn how to tune the challenge-skills sweet spot by gaining unbreakable confidence.


7:00 PM - Dinner and Self-Esteem Session

We will continue the coaching session at dinner, processing what you experienced during the morning and afternoon coaching sessions. We will end the fifth day with simple exercises that build high self-esteem.

RETREAT DAY 7 - SUNDAY. EMBRACING YOUR POWER

7:00 AM - Closing Session, Breakfast

Final mindful running and an active meditation session to optimize your brain for flow. Regardless of your personal insights from The State Of Flow, Tom will guide you to summarize the main conclusions, and we will create a personalized four-week mentoring program with each person.


Noon - Lunch and Departure

We’ll send you off with hugs, group photos, and a lifetime of memories.

REGISTRATION AND HOW TO APPLY


REGISTRATION, DEPOSIT


Space is limited to a maximum of 8 people for each one week retreats.


There is a £500 deposit required to apply for The State Of Flow. This, along with your fully completed application, is a demonstration of your commitment to joining us on the trip.


If accepted, your £500 deposit will be applied to the cost of the trip. If accepted and you decline the spot offered, your deposit will be forfeited. If you are not accepted, your deposit will be refunded promptly.


Payment: 50% is due upon approval of the request, and the remaining 50% is due three months before the selected retreat.


REFUND POLICY


If you cancel two months before selected retreat, you will be refunded fee paid, less a £500 administration fee.

If you cancel 30 days before selected retreat, 50% of the retreat fee will be refunded.


No refunds will be issued for cancellations received 29 days and less before selected retreat.

How is The State Of Flow different from other retreats?

It’s always wonderful to experience the retreat, relaxation and clarity. However, The State Of Flow takes that experience and turns it into an all-out embrace of your best inner nature. Every waking moment of The State Of Flow is carefully designed to help you connect with your essential self, rediscover the joy you were born to experience, get into the flow and achieve peak performance. This is much, much more than a retreat. We will be focusing intense attention on you, helping make the experience luxurious, exciting, deeply rewarding, and intensely life-transforming. That means giving you research-backed tools to help you spend more time in the zone.

What makes this trip extraordinary?

Aside from coaching intensive like no other, the centrepiece of The State Of Flow experience is the supportive cameral community of like-minded people being on the same journey. You will not only receive personal attention from us during the coaching sessions. We will also share many adventures, meals, runs and general festivities that are included in the itinerary. I see this as my chance to do the kind of deep, client-focused coaching I most enjoy.

What type of physical shape do I need to be in?

You’ll have an opportunity to do activities (such as yoga) at whatever level of intensity feels comfortable to you. If you love to exercise, you can enjoy hotel workout facilities. However, part of the retreats are mindful running training in the wilderness, and you should be able to run 15 kilometres at a relaxing pace.

How will I sustain and implement what I learned about myself from The State Of Flow?

Practice will be custom-designed specifically for you during the coaching sessions. This will help you sustain the positive experience of The State Of Flow through a simple, pleasurable sustained activity. After the retreat, Tom will personally mentor you for the next four weeks, helping in implementing your custom-designed program.

Can I arrive early or stay longer at the hotel?

Unfortunately that's not possible because before and after the retreat Tom is continuing running 36,000 kilometres.

Is there any pre-work or anything that I have to do before starting The State Of Flow?

Yes, two weeks before the retreat, we will start working together to personalise your program to your personal and professional goals. We will do it mainly by filling the questionnaire and through emails. 3-4 days before the retreat, you will have a video chat with Tom to discuss details. We will also give you access to our video training to support mindful running and active meditation training to learn basic exercises for more effective results during your retreat.

How is The State Of Flow philosophy unique?

Unlike other coaching programs, The State Of Flow teaches people to uncover obstacles that are holding them back from getting into the flow so that they can move toward their unique destiny. 


This means that we don’t simply forge ahead and set goals. Instead, we facilitate a process that helps our clients access their inner wisdom and take inspired action rather than drive themselves externally (which is really hard, often tedious, and frankly not all that effective).


We believe that each person has the key to their desired life within them. Our job is to help them access and act on that information and help them structure their day to attract triggers and preconditions to get into the flow, stay there comfortably throughout the day and achieve their peak performance.
